specifically, which area of the world are you interested in?
hasanh, specifically, we have done work in the following areas:
gulf of mexico
eastern side of: mexico, central america, and south america
north sea
coast of: congo, angola, gabon, and nigeria
middle east, and persian gulf
bay of bengal, south china sea, and yellow sea
sometimes we have very specific design criteria. at other times specific criteria is not available.
a report prepared by the building research establishment(bre) united kingdom outlining the seismic zones in the middle east and persian gulf. they may have the same for other ares of the world.

for australia, you'll find the information in australian standards as 1170.2 - wind loads and as 1170.4 - earthquake loads.

find the latest edition of naval facilities engineering command publication navfac dm-2, design manual--structural engineering. the copy i have, dated 1970, has a listing of many different places in the world with their wind, snow, frost and earthquake design requirements. good luck!
try as i might i couldn't find a way to get navfac dm-2 either ordering a copy or finding online. i, however, did find a site in which everyone might be interested. the us army corps of engineers has a bunch of their technical manuals online at:
