ansi standard dimensions for t
are you referring to extruded shaped tees made of structural steel? those types of tees? or are you reffering to golf tees?
if the first, you can get them in the manual of steel contruction by aisc (american institute of steel construction).

for piping tees refer to ansi b16.9:86, this is the ansi standard for fittings, there are similiar codes for din, jis, ped etc.
most piping engineers would have handbooks for dimensional data at hand

hello,

you should be aware that there are many dimensions that are not standardized by ansi b16.9 for welding fittings. b16.9 standizes ent-to-end dimensions (and end-to-centerline dimensions)and the "squareness" of fittings but that is all.
the standard says that the fitting "must be able to be shown" to be able to sustain the internal pressure (at least) as much as the matching straight pipe. so, the manufacturers usually make them thicker (yes for elbows too - put that in your pipe stress model). the standard does not specify the thickness except to say that it must match the matching pipe at the weld line.
if you look at b16.9 tee's from 10 manufacturers you will see an amazing amount of dimensional variation. the crotch radii vaty greatly for example. also some are "barrel shaped" and some are more "cylinrical". but they are all b16.9 tee's.
best regards, john
yiyovb,
john breen is correct, however another point must be added about your "two inch tee"
in the usa, the two inch size is most typically part of a "socket welded" system. ( also called fillet welded) socket welded components fall under the dimensional rules of both ansi b16.9 and b16.11. "screwed" or threaded fittings fall under another ansi dimensional standard.
please specify your type of welded construction and the reason why this is so important....
regards
mjc
