oddbmlinestyle::setname() throws exception
oddbmlinestyle::setname() throws exception
hi,
has anything changed in oddbmlinestyle::setname() function implementation? following code used to work fine in previous release but latest release throws "invalid key" exception on setname().
code:
oddbobjectid id = pdb->getmlstyledictionaryid();
oddbmlinestyleptr pmls = oddbmlinestyle::createobject();
oddbdictionaryptr pdict = id.safeopenobject(oddb::kforwrite);
oddbobjectid objid = pdict->setat(skey, pmls); //skey = "multi_line_style"
pmls = objid->safeopenobject(oddb::kforwrite);
pmls->setname(odstring(skey)); //i tried skey = "multi_line_style and "newstyle" but both throws exception.
is this a bug? how can i fix it from my code?

also getting same exception
i also have the same problem. code that worked in the previous release is giving "invalid key" on oddbmlinestyle::setname() :
code:
oddbdictionaryptr pmlsdic = pdb->getmlstyledictionaryid().safeopenobject(oddb::kforwrite);
oddbmlinestyleptr pmls = pmlsdic->getat("standard", oddb::kforwrite);
pmls->setname("standard");
also, if i do not set the name (ie: i comment out the setname() above), then when i open up the dwg i have saved, the mlinestyle name is empty (blank) in autocad (see attached drawing).

you should set style name before adding it to dictionary. there is a bug in dd with renaming style added to the dictionary under key not equal to current style name.
style name should be equal to the dictionary key anyway.
