petrical (cement/wood fiber) roof deck design data
we are looking at an older building with cementitious, wood fiber roof deck similar to tectum. manufacturer's rep suggests that product is actually petrical by fireproof products company (now cornell corporation). i am in need of technical design data for this product, particularily diaphragm capacity. anyone familiar with petrical?

jmfick - i am not familiar with the product and don't think i have any info on petrical. let us know the approximate age of the building. that will narrow down the search.
building was constructed in the 1960's, buffalo, new york. it is a high school ice hockey arena.
cement-fiber deck was originally supported by thin-walled box purlins spanning between long-span trusses. box purlins have a continuous longitudinal slot at top to accept a clip anchoring deck. in 1996, original purlins were replaced with hss

jmfick - i did not find anything, sorry.
i attempted to upload a pdf file of the petrical data that i have but kept getting errors. it does not show diaphragm values. the er-1116 icbo report that i mentioned earlier is actually or tectum. i did have diaphragm values for petrical for a project that i designed about thirty years ago but no longer have that information. i didn't like either product but considered petrical superior in every respect to tectum. i would have no qualms with using the er-1116 report data but not everyone would agree with that.

i re-scanned at a lower resolution - it isn't as easy to read but it works. i will also send the pdf to sliderule era
