we have implemented our dwg viewer similar the way singledoc implemented. our application and even singledoc crashes for the attached two files. even odvectorize_ex also fails.
the exception is thrown during
odabstractviewpeptr(pview)->zoomextents(pview);
do we have the fix for this?.
also in our application we captured this exception and were able to view, but zoom is not happening.
zoom fails exactly at this statement odgsbasevectorizeview::update(); .
do we have fix zoom ?

what version of dwgdirect you are use?
we are using dwgdirect-2.04.02 version.
we also have dwgdirect-2.06.03, but currently we are not using in our implementation. we are waiting for dwgdirect-2.07.

i test attached drawings with latest version (2.7.1 production) and not have exceptions or crashes in signledoc.
2.7.1 production (windows only) posted to outgoing (for other platforms will be posted soon). you can download and test your application with it.
some bugs with extents calculations, text processing and rendering are fixed after 2.4.2.

i verified their sample application works fine in 1.14 and 2.06, but in 2.04, they crashes.
since we are in 2.4, i would like to know, can we have a work-around atleast for this issue. if nothing can be done, then we are bound to go with library updation.

unfortunately, this is not simple to suggest any workaround for 2.4.2, because some changes and modifications which affects onto zoom extents behaviour was performed after this release
i recommend to use 2.7.1 instead of 2.4.2
