annotation attachment in leader entity
annotation attachment in leader entity
i am not able attach annotation in the leader entity. i am using only object id to attach annotation.
what are the necessary parameters to be set before attaching the annotation?
is evaluate leader somewhat similar to recomputedimblock?? do i need to call this function also?

see odwriteex sample. it contains code creating leaders. note that not entity types can be used as annotation.

thanks! now i am able to attach the annotation but the hook line (dogleg in case of mtext) direction is opposite, is there any function to set the direction?
also how to calculate the start point of the annotation?
try to create a leader like you want to make in dd in autocad and look at it and it's annotation parameters.
for example autocad sets text alignment (left/right) depending on leader's direction and changes it if you drag the mtext entity.
if you set only annotation id to leader dd will calculate annotation direction etc. itself.
