greetings,
i am working on a dwg project to run on both macintosh and windows. i am using the codewarrior shared libraries for macintosh and vs.net 2002 for windows.
the windows version has given me no problems; however, the mac version is not giving me all the necessary geometry.
after discovering this problem, i compiled the odvectorizeex projects on both windows and mac. both my project files and the examples compile and run with no problems. however, odvectorizeex for mac gave me significantly less geometry than the windows version, which gave me all the necessary geometry.
i have run out of ideas, the mac version compiles and runs flawlessly but the output is incorrect. i am sure that all the necessary shared libraries are available to odvectorizeex.
i am using dwg 1.12
also, i noticed the dwg 1.12 documentation mentions that the codewarrior libraries should come with dd_freetype.shlb but it is not in the package. however, the test file i used has no text anyhow, but i thought i'd mention it.
the two odvectorizeex outputs for mac and windows and the dwg file i used to test both are included in the zipped attachment.

the source of this problem is that acis support is not being utilized in the 1.12.01 mac codewarrior version of dwgdirect. this problem will be fixed in the next update to 1.12, which should be available in early december.

has this issue been resolved in version 1.12.04 of dwgdirect for mac codewarrior?
i have run this demo again and am still not getting the correct results, but perhaps i have done something wrong.

i am deciding about switching from the older toolkit to the new dwgdirect and this question is very much relevant to me before taking the decision.

sorry for the delay in responding to this. this issue was resolved in 1.12.04. if you are upgrading anyway, we recommend you upgrade to our latest 1.13.02 version.
