hello,
i am getting the following assert error in debug mode in c++ v6.0 as i open a dwg.
rt==oddb::ksoftpointerref
file: 揝ource\database\dwgfiler\dwgstreams.cpp
line: 475
it is intermittent. once i close the drawing and reopen it, the error disappears!
any ideas?

this is result of vc 6 compiler bug related to templates.
2.6.3 contains workaroung for vc6 bug (no asserts).
actually the only result of this bug is the assertion. you can ignore it.
the assertion happens once per application run.
