incorrect text displaying
hi all,
i've been using dd 2.2.0. i tried in acad to make a drawing with some sample texts in it with a font that is installed on my machine. it seems this font to be bold by default. that's why in acad 2006 there is no change when i toggle "normal" and "bold" properties of the font. i've made 2 sample drawings - one with this font by default; and one - this font is changed to be italic. in acad the both drawings are displayed correctly, but in odamfcapp texts are not displayed with the desired font. it seems it is substituted with the system font.
this problem occurs only if this font is used.
how can i see these texts in dd with the font that they should be displayed?

hello nino,
there is problem with ttf font. this font is bold by default and only bold.
if you change text property to bold dd shows your text correct but this way is not sutable for italic.
it is bug in dwfdirect and we will try to fix it in near future.

i can disable the option for italic for this font, but how can i know in the source which font is bold by default and only bold?

hello nino,
see settings\control panel\fonts and look for "headline...". your font has only bold. enumfontfamiliesex() gives only bold font for this face name in program. i don't way to know it precisely during edit mtext in acad (possible through analyse text changing).
