perednicularity can some one explain to me the right way to measure perendicularity. if i have 2 planes, 1st plane is parrallel to the surface late the other is about 70deg taered from 1st plane. my working plane is z+ do i need to change my working lpane to measure a erend.? do i need to select 2 sufraces or if one surface is my zero i can only select one? also angularity how do you measure that, i think same way as erend.

perendicularity is used to check to see the deviation from 90° or erfectly square.
so if i read you correctly, you would want to use only angularity & not erindicularity for a 70° feature.

in this case yes, but i need to know how to do both, i guess my troble is to know wheather i need to change a workplane to do it so you can see it from the side or to view is ok. and does it matter what features i select first, i think it matters.
the first feature you select is the feature wanted checked. the second feature choosen acts as the datum feature to which the 1st is checked.
ok what about the worklane shouldn't tha be from the side of the angle? worklane can't be on to of the angle right? maybe it doesn't matter if you just using a location feature to find the angle?

on 3d features it should not matter, it is 2d features that deend on view.
