double connections (safety connection)
for a standard beam to beam connection (w18 supporting beam, with two w12 supported beams), as per osha subpart r, article 1926.756, it is mandatory to provide a safety connection for double connections at columns and/or at beam web over a column.
for our case listed above, we don't have to supply safety connections at the ends of w12 beams since the supporting w18 is not over a column.
