any suggestions on good reference materials.
a recent fire at the office i work in has left my collection of textbooks and reference materials in a pile of ash. i'd appreciate any suggestions on good textbooks referencing structural analysis, concrete, masonry, steel, wood, precast, etc. design. in essence i need to fully reload my reference materials including codes. any help will be much appreciated.

as an aside, you may want to consider purchase of the electronic version of the book instead of the paper version, cost permitting.
i have recently started doing this. my library is a series of 80 gb portable hard drives the size of a bottle of hand lotion. i can take my library when i travel to the client site without lugging a lot of poundage. it's expensive, but, worth a thought.
i, too, have much information on disks, hard drives, etc. but, to be honest, it is much much easier to thumb through a book than thumb through an electronic file. it is great to have the e-files for taking with you - trips, etc., but i guess i like books too much.
