query regarding oddbtext

query regarding oddbtext
hi all,
i have created an oddbtext entity. now i need to change the text style(bold, italic underline, font). how can it be achieved. can any one reply with an example. i also need to know whether we can give fonts such as arial, timesnewroman, etc, without using external dependencies (font files).
