problem with a dxf file...
hello. below is a link to a pretty big dxf file. it is almost 5 megs zipped and 27 unzipped. autocad loads this file in about 8 seconds on my machine, our current dxf drawing code loads it in about 6 seconds. the od test examples and my test example cannot load it (after a minute or two of trying). is there something in the file that kills it, or just the size of it?
the reason we are looking to switch to od is for completeness. our drawing code is fast but not fully complete. if we can get the od stuff drawing even close to ours speed-wise, we are going to switch.

there are erors in the file that we cannot handle. the loading speed itself is about the same as in acad.
i'll see what can be done to handle such files.

thanks for the reply...
i brought the file into acad and saved it out as a dwg file. still no luck with od's sample apps and my sample app. i would autodesk would save their dwg in a proper format, no?
anyway, the file can be downloaded below. is there a way to open a drawing with the only intent of vectorizing it to wcs? hopefully leaving a lot of the unnecessary fat out of memory?

i can't log in. i am testing the libraries to see if we want to become a member, we are not members yet. does that make a difference?

associate membership does not require any payment.
but you can download libraries only after registering as a member.

i was able to get on and download the files. i tried the chart again and it did load this time, but the render time was about 30 seconds. and on my first zoom and the odamfcapp throw an exception. attached are the two screen shots.
