hello,
there is a problem loading dxfs created with opendwg dwgdirect (version 2.4.2) with openoffice.org draw: nothing is displayed.
if you load the dxf with autocad (lt 2000 in my test) and save it, you'll be able to load it without problem with draw.
i know that the problem may be in openoffice.org draw but i'm posting here the issue because i didn't find how to submit it to openoffice.org.
i think that the incompatibility with openoffice.org (that's getting more and more users all around the world) is a bad reputation for the alliance (and for our softwares that load/export in dxf format).
attached are two dxfs: the one created with dwgdirect (saved as dxf 12) and the one loaded and saved with autocad lt 2000 (saved as dxf 12).

how do you create such files?
(there is no "$model_space" block in it, perhaps that's what is not expected by openoffice)
perhaps you can create such file with one of our sample?
(or you may post a pice of code to be inserted somewhere to reproduce such behaviour)

i made a copy and paste of the $paper_space and $model_space blocks from one dxf to the other but the problem still happened. after that i made some other test and i found that the problem is in $extmin $extmax settings: in our dxf is set to the default for dwgdirect (1.0e+20, 1.0e+20, 1.0e+20 for $extmin and -1.0e+20, -1.0e+20, -1.0e+20 for $extmax) and these are not good values for openoffice.org draw. i changed them with the values extracted from autocad dxf and the problem got solved.
i am changing our code to set these values with the real limits of the drawing.
