this is given by oddbblocktablerecordptr->origin( ).
i have not found a case where origin api returns value other than ( 0,0,0).
is it possible?
if yes, please email me the dwg drawing.
block definition's origin can be other than (0,0,0) but latest versions of autocad (starting at least with r14) while creating block via ui convert entities in block to have zero base point.
file with non-zero block base point can be created by objectarx/dbx. you can make such file by editing dxf file also - group code 10 in block begin entity. load edited dxf into autocad (or dd) and save it to dwg.
