problem with converting 3dsolids to meshes
problem with converting 3dsolids to meshes
we only support mesh object in our application. hence, we convert 3dsolids to meshes after reading a .dwg file with the following function. the function works well for years until we replaced the older version of opendwg with version 1.12 recently. now, decomposeforsave always return null and cannot convert 3dsolids to meshes anymore. anyone has any idea or solution to the problem?

i tried to add the following after odinitialize.

if you link with dd statically you need to link with dd_xxx_modelergeometry.lib
xxx stands for prefix like vc6md, example:
dd_vc6md_modelergeometry.lib

actually, i link with dd dynamically and should not add odrx_declare_static_module_entry_point. i linked to dd_modelergeometry_dll.lib and defined preprocessor _toolkit_in_dll_.
i also copied modelergeometry.drx in the debug directory where the application reside. however, oduint32 rasterid = pdynlnk->loadapp("modelergeometry") always return null. any idea why?

in dll version you need not link with modelergeometry. the .drx in application folder should be enough.
btw, have you overridden findfile() or loadmodule() or findmodule()?

i search the project and didn't find any findfile or loadmodule or findmodule. hence, i think they are not overriden. what else can you think of? or is there any way to debug the problem?
