i would like to retrieve pattern data clipped by viewport rectangle.
then i searched the sample programs(odreadex,odamfcapp).
but i could not find the method.
in the dwgdirect help file, i found odgeclipboundary2d class.
i tried to use it.
the sample code is below.
odgepoint2darray rawvertices;
for (...) rawvertices.push_back(odgepoint2d(... , ...)); // set
odgepoint2d cornera ; // viewport clip
cornera.x= ... ;
cornera.y= ... ;
odgepoint2d cornerb ;
cornerb.x= ... ;
cornerb.y= ... ;
odgeclipboundary2d clipper( cornera, cornerb); // class
odgepoint2darray clippedvertices;
odge::clipcondition cccc = odge::kallsegmentsinside;
odge::cliperror cerr ;
cerr = clipper.clippolyline( rawvertices, clippedvertices, cccc );
compiling is ok, but linking has error.(error lnk2019
does the code have anything.
i am using dwgdirect 1.09. vc2003 library in vc++.net.
if this method(odgeclipboundary2d) is not yet implemented,
i would like to know if it will be in next releases?
if someone knows another method to pattern data clipped by viewport,
please tell me.
i have to know these answers, then i will really appreciate.

as far as i can see - odgeclipboundary2d isn't yet implemented.

if someone knows the other method to get the pattern data coordinates clipped by viewport, please tell me.

we don't have a firm timeline for the odgeclipboundary2d support, but it is on our list of things to do.
i'm not sure if this is suitable for your needs, but viewport clipping is performed on modelspace data, if you use our rendering engine to render a drawing (see odamfcapp for an example).

my explanation was insufficient.
our application is not to render a drawing ,but to convert data .
and a figures as seen has to be converted as it remain as it is.
clipped figures need to have clipped data.
then, the figures geometricaly clipped are required.
i think that odgeclipboundary2d is the effective means of this solution,
and appreciate oda's strong support.
moreover, i respect the great contribution to dwgdirect of oda (construction of classes, sample programs, documents , etc.).
we hurry this program development.
i expect that this function is supported as early as possible.
