i have just started using the dwgdirect libraries.
i am finding that when i read in a dwg file, it does a quick run up the progress bar followed by a slower run up the program bar as it loads the drawing.
it seems that it is doing a process (that is quickish) before it actually loads the drawing.
if so, what is it? i would like to know so that the progress label can state what it is doing, because it is noticeable... albeit slightly

i now realise what it is. doing a debug and looking at the "displaystring" it is loading in the dwg object map or something like that.
