i have no api knowledge..
basically i want to use this macro to do 2 things.
#1 add new properties to existing parts.
#2 rename properties of existing parts while keeping the old value/text expression.
1st time would involve adding new properties to the old parts (tested and it works good)
2nd time around involve renaming all the old existing properties name which are all lowercase to uppercase at the same time keeping the original values (test it on test parts, result in deletion of all properties to be renamed)

first, have you contacted leonard directly? he is a great resource for api, particularly his own works.

there is no rename for custom properties. you will need to add new property w/ new name and delete old one.
