opening 'foreign' files query
hello all,
i have been using solidedge for many years now and the company has decided to move over to solidworks and as such there are 200k+ parts and assemblies that need porting over.
if you open solidworks, you can then choose to open a solidedge part and save as a sldprt.
my question is does anyone have any vb code or able to describe the method to be able to open and save as this 'foreign' file. if it can be done manually i would expect to be able to do it via the api.
any help is greatly appreciated.
