converting future version files
hi,
i have stupidly been using solidworks 08 on a trial version. now the trial has run out and i have opened some of my solidworks files in 08 converting them into 08 file format. and of course they wont open up in solidworks 07 is there anyway to convert the files back to 07 format?

no i do not think you are being stupid. i think solidworks is by blocking this functionality.
the only solution i know is to export to a different format and then import back into solidworks.
i've had some sucess with parasolid (*.x_t) to go from sw 2007 to sw 2006.
