retreiving bom quantity
i have a large number of files that someone may have incorrectly set the "bom quanity" field in the custom properties to something other than "-none-". is there a way to retreive this field from a macro so i can clean these up?

there are many macro available over net. have look on
i think i found what i was looking for:
if the "bom quantity" dropdown is filled out (other than "- none -"), then it creates a custom property called "unit_of_measure" and assignes it the name of the property selected. it is the value of the specified property that is used in the qty field on a bill of materials table.
once it is used, setting it back to "- none -" leaves the custom property but assigns it the value of "- none -"
