still goes back to the issue of real economic stimulus. divide the 1 trillion dollar stimulus equally among all taxayers and what would they do with the money? ay off mortgages...housing crisis is fixed as well as banking crisis! buy a new car? auto industry is revived! send kids to college...buy new tv, clothes, aliances...invest in stock market (mutual funds)...sock it away in the bank...all these and so many others would get the money in the hands of businesses and banks the right way, through the consumer and not directly from the government! everyone would benefit...and the oliticians could even at themselves on the back for making everyone hay!!
no...that's too simle to even be considered...and much too simle to work!
