is there any reduction on wind load on the fabric when it is sucked out of the wall.
the banner is tied to the wall at top & bottom and is more than 15 m high x 20 m.
caution! cyclic wind loads will induce considerable levels of dynamic loading on your banner and potentially loosen your fasteners. in direct answer to your question, in my opinion no. in fact, i tend to over-design the connections because of the dynamic action you don't get with rigid structural member signs. just ensure your fasteners can take repeated dynamic loading.
