text based on aisc 13th edition
anyone come across a good textbook based on the new aisc steel manual, 13th edition. it would be helpful to have a textbook using same nomenclature and criteria
i'm waiting for the next edition of the salmon and johnson text "steel structures : design and behavior (5th edition)" due out in december 2006 according to amazon.com, now co-authered by faris malhas.
so far that's the only one i know of.

yes, they usually lag behind the publication date a bit.
