what advantages stiffness matrix analysis have over other processes like flexibilty matrix analysis etc. why is it preferred, i.e if it is, and what are its possible drawbacks and limitations?

the single largest benefit of the stiffness matrix is its suitability for computational programming. review the flexibility method and see if you can apply some flow logic to it! it is subjective whereas the stiffness method is objective.
