默认 shrinkage cracks control in structural slab

shrinkage cracks control in structural slab
hi,
1)i'm looking for some rules of thumbs and details to use in design of structural slab to prevent shrinkage cracks.
2)what is your best guide on this subject?
thanks for your help!
what kind of slab is this- slab on grade or floor slab?
avoid addition of water on the job-site.
place alternating strips of the slab on different days (25-30' widths), so the shrinkage can occur in the first placement prior to the second placement. keep the cement quantity as low as possible with the requirement of strength or use shrinkage compensating cement. use stiff sheets of wwf on continuous chairs just below the depth of the sawn or tooled joints. leave out the poly vapor barrier below the slab, (use sand compacted and moisture conditioned just before the placement), and use cure early and to the specified coverage. cut joints as soon as the concrete does not ravel at the saw blade, (4-7 hours at 60 degree temperature).
thanks everybody for your replies.
i mean floor slab (8" to 10" thick).
