seismic chapter 12 horizontal and vertical irregularities
if i am interpreting the code correctly, chapter12 - asce-7 '05, if my building is in category b for the table 12.3:
12.3-1
i need only consider numbers 1a, 1b, 4 and 5, and i may neglect numbers 2 and 3. and if i happen to have any of these irregularites, i must only abide by the sections noted next to category b on the right side of the table.
12.3-2
i need only consider numbers 4 and 5b and may neglect the rest. if i happen to have any of these irregularites, i also only need to abide by the sections listed by category b.
is this an accurate interpretation? all help is welcomed.

for what it is worth i also have a category b design and i interpreted the code exactly as you state above.
