默认 seismic anchorage of em

seismic anchorage of emt
i've been asked to design emt conduit anchorage (emphasis seismic) for an equipment room. drilled expansion anchors are acceptable. to be honest, i've never had to do one before. i searched the forums and didnt turn up much.
it's 1- 1/2 inch emt with 4-#6 wires. ibc 2000 1621 applies.
i understand that procedure as oulined, and i was wondering if anyone has any tips or guidance for an approach.
unfortunately i don't know what emt is. if you are to use drilled expansion anchors, make sure that they have icc approval to be used for seismic forces. also, read the particular icc report; most require special inspection.
my edition of the 2000 ibc is in the archives and i notice that the 2003 has changes in section 1621. i notice in the 2003 ibc that asce 7 is referenced, but not the particular edition.
if i remember correctly, in most cases the seismic forces increase, depending where the subject component is located above the building grade.
