rather than searching all states websites, is there a web site that states which states require a se license and what tests they require?

brian, you pretty well need to go state by state anyway.
i'll add il to that list. as jstephen said, you could still design buildings in ca with a civil pe, but in il, you can't do anything structural without an se.
