roarks errata
does anyone have the errata for roarks stress and strain 7th edition?
on page 788 part of the formula for the stress concentration of an elliptical hole is given as:
c1 = 1.000 + 0.000*squareroot(a/b) + 2.000(a/b)
the second term cant be right!

just checked my 7th and 4th editions.
in the 4th edition, it is simply given as:
k=1+2(a/b) for wide plates
so it is the same.

they must have put it in so all the formulas are consistent.
