recommendations for structural design software
could people on the board recommend a program for doing steel, concrete, and timber design? i am primarily looking for software that will solve statically indeterminate beams. i have used enercalc in the past, but i wasn't that impressed with the program because the program had some bugs in it. thanks for your responses.

i use staad and am happy with it. reiusa.com.
risa, strudl and ram are other programs i think.
this topic is brought up on a regular basis. the following threads might help if you are looking for a general purpose structural analysis package (which you provbably aren't) but these discussions may mention other programs that could fit the bill.
