默认 re-bar pull-up capacity in soil

re-bar pull-up capacity in soil
does anybody know of a good reference material to calculate the uplift capacity of a metal rod or re-bar in soil at different depths and for different types of soil?
check out our whitepaper library.
i never done this calculation before with a rebar but i would rationalize simliar to a pile being pulled out of the ground. a statics book or a soils book should have something for you. my calc would go something like this: the soil vertical shearing stress x the perimeter of the rebar x the depth of the rebar would equal the uplift force reqiured to extract the rebar. good luck. nice thread.
a while back, i was looking up data for some screw-in anchors, and found that capacity is very dependent on soil characteristics.
i know from using rebar for christmas tree stakes that when you drive them in about a foot or 18", the uplift capacity is very dependent on how wet the soil is.
