punching shear for composite decks
has anyone encountered a good research article on the punching shear capacity of composite decks? i know of the deck manufacturers equations limiting the load however, there are several client engineers that disagree on the limits. informal discussion with some manufacturers indicate that punchin shear is almost impossible.
your thoughts and counsel are appreciated.

why not check the punching shear capacity of the concrete alone (phivc)? use 4sqrt(f'c)pd where p is your perimeter according to aci and d is your average depth.
