minimum concrete cover above 24" cmp
do you guys know what is the minimum concrete cover above a 24 in cmp (corrugated metal pipe) to be placed underneath an access road? is there a standard detail that might have this information?

aashto section 12 " corrugated metal structure interaction systems" will have what you are looking for.

for concrete cover i am not aware of a minimum. sometimes the pipe manufacturer may have that info. typically its compacted soil or gravel cover requirements.
