默认 minimum bearing for hollow core precast plank

minimum bearing for hollow core precast plank
simple questions:
what is the minimum bearing requirement for hollow core precast plank?
what is the minimum steel beam flange width for interior bearing of plank from both sides of beam?
thanks.
i don't know if there's an industry standard, but i usually use a minimum of 2-1/2" bearing, preferably 3" and usually use 1-1/2" or 2-1/2" untempered masonite or korolath bearing strips...
dik
table on page 16. looks like a pretty good manual.
many things to consider. i have a design and engineering handbook from spancrete, which shows "minimum" (not necessarily acceptable) bearing requirements.
this manual shows 3.5" on masonry, 3" on embedded steel angle, 2.5" on steel beam, with 1" gap between abutted ends, you would need a 6" wide flange.
thicker plank, with thicker concrete toppings, with longer spans, with higher live loads may require greater bearing. check with the precast manufacturer and supplier for that job for final design requirements.
