masonry shear design
i am designing a truss and anchoring system to be mounted along the face of an existing six inch masonry wall and is cantilevered from the end. i am looking for some help in how to verify that the masonry will carry the load imparted by the truss. the largest force transmited to one of the four anchors is 2200 lbs. i am planning on reinforcing the wall and using hilti expoxy anchors. thank you.
