mansard roof on tall building
is there any provisions in asce 7-02 for calculating the c&c wind loads on a mansard roof on top of a building much greater than 60 feet in height? the mansard has a 45 degree roof slope and is 10 feet in height. it is closed on it's backside.
should it be treated as a parapet wall (freestanding wall or solid sign)? what about the uplift on the roof slope?
