low-end post-tensioning jacks
hi,
what is the smallest bonded tendon supported by mono-strand post-tensioning jacks ?
a better question would be: what mono-strand post-tensioning jacks support tendons smaller than 1/2" ?
as far as i could find, 0.5" and 0.6" are the two mainstream diameters that all jack vendors seem to support.
i ask because i'm working on a project that would require a much lesser degree of pre-compression than that provided by the 0.5" or 0.6" cables.

i would suggest, use .5 or .6" strands but specify much lesser pull that will satisfy your force requirement.
if you like you may also contact the p/t suppliers like vsl, freyssinet, dsi etc.
