hand rail embedded in concrete with sleeve
does any one know where to find info / literature on designing an embedded railing post in concrete that has a sleeve? typically i have seen posts embedded 6 inch in concrete that has been core drilled with a grouted sleeve in the hole. are there any guidelines as to minimum depth, or any design guidelines?

i don't know of any code but check out page 3 of the link below. the procedure is similar to the pci manual for steel embedments.
