glb trusses
i am hoping that there may be a software or better design process out there that will assist in the design of decorative yet structural glb trusses with steel gusset side plates. (actually the client wants 2-glb's as side members with a 1/2"+- steel gusset as the middle member.) risa provides a fine analysis of the truss, but does not allow for glb inputs. any suggestions?
risa-3d allows you to input custom shapes and materials.

our subs use staad for glulam projects. sometimes they use woodworks as well.
