design loads for piers, gangways, etc.
i am trying to establish design criteria for floating, and fixed piers, as well as gangways intended for sale. i have not been able to find any applicable "universal" design codes (live loads, deflection limits, etc.) for any of these structures. does anyone know of any? i was also wondering if these structures may be covered by the asce 7-02 minimum design loads for buildings and other structures. thanks.
