concrete slab design on top of silo
need help. does anyone know of a design reference for the design of a concrete slab that will be supported by concrete walls? we have to design a slab for a 32' diameter silo. the slab will support a water tank.

will the slab be uniformly loaded or with concentrated loads?
you might find some formulas for bending moments in a round slab in roark. i would probably take a more simplified approach by assuming a square box of size 0.9 d and then designing rebar in two direction. this should work for uniform load.
for concentrated loads, i probably would recommend using an fem approach.
