base plate + bolt (easy request)
i am looking for a good design example of a bolted base plate using aisc. also, if anyone has recommendations on a spreadsheet for this design, it would be appreciated.

assuming you are asking about a base plate with applied moment, a trustly reference is omer blodgett's classic, "design of welded structures". also, aisc's design guide #1 is about column base plates.
steel structures: design and behanvior by salmon and johnson also has some good information for designing base plates.
i have a mathcad worksheet that does the calculations for a baseplate with axial load/moment by the method in blodgett. it is posted on my website:
