默认 125m diameter steel framed stockpile cover

125m diameter steel framed stockpile cover
does anyone know of any resources/design examples on the design of a large steel framed stockpile cover?
this is a sheeted roof only structure.
please see the attached for a sketch arrangement.
what a beauty! i don't know of any similar.
1. why 15 segments? 16 segments would allow you better continuity over the ridge. draw a plan and you'll see what i mean.
2. can you brace any of the side bays? stability under wind or seismic load could be a problem.

all walls are open, so may have to adopt a fixed base scenario. at this stage the prelim layout suggested 15 segments, although im sure 16 would be fine. the only thing that matters is an efficient (light as possible) design.
i have never done a structure like this, but i would consider using cantilevered concrete columns rather than steel. if you use a tension/compression ring at the perimeter, the columns would only have to carry the global lateral load, not the rafter thrust.
what is the stockpiled material?

stockpile material is grain i think.
i would think that there is a ring at the apex to be able feed the stockpile; so there's no advantage is using an even number of segments.
you could also use moment connections at the column head to help with stability and rafter deflection.
interesting project!
yes there is a 3m diameter opening and ring beam at the top.
