galling when machining inconel
can anyone provide tips on how to prevent galling when machining inconel parts?
eng-tips forums is member supported.
this is probably a no brainer question, but how is your tool condition, and how are your feeds and speeds?

its trial and error at best sometimes, try a higher feed rate and slower speed. again depends on what your trying to do, turn, mill, thread etc........
