where is the documentation
where is the documentation
i am new to dwgdirect. i am an experienced windows c++ programmer. the only dwgdirect documentation i have discovered so far is dwgdirect.chm. this looks to me like it is not finished. most macros and functions in the reference section have no description at all. there is no mention of which header files are needed. is there another document that i need?
you are right. dwgdirect doesn't have exhaustive documentation about each function yet.
but there are at least two additional sources where you can pick up information:
1. objectarx reference. dwgdirect classes very similar to arx classes. sometimes it was very helpful for me. for example, for information about oddbline member functions see acdbline class in objectarx reference.
2. examples that show basic load, save and render operation. (see "examples" folder).
