version stamp for modelergeometry.drx
i've just been asked a question by one of my colleagues, who is writing the installer for our software product.
is it possible to version stamp the modelergeometry.drx file in the same way that dlls are version stamped?
apparently our installer deletes any files that don't have the correct version stamp.

what is version stamp? i just checked drx and it includes version info.

it appears that the file does have a version after all, but for some reason it doesn't show in vista (although it does in xp).

i dont understand exactly. has toolkit defect with versioning under vista or not? vista is a new platform for toolkit and defects are possible here. usually it is strange defects

sorry, perhaps i didn't explain clearly. there is no problem with the toolkit. if you do a 'right-click -> properties' in vista on a dll the details tab shows the file version. however, if you do this on a drx file you don't see the file version.
so, the toolkit is fine.
