is it possible to give a date when the release version 3.0 ( not a beta version ) will be available ?

we don't have a firm date for a non-beta release, but i would expect it to be sometime 4q this year, perhaps sooner. we do not anticipate making major changes to the api (we've made very few api changes during the past several months), so it is reasonable at this point to start working on client applications. one of the main reason we are still calling 3.02 a beta is that we have not gotten enough feedback from clients yet. 3.02 has performed well for us during internal testing, and in a lot of cases it is more stable than our latest 2.x release, especially when processing corrupt files.
for those of you who are waiting on a stable release before you start working with v3, i would recommend that you go ahead and work with 3.02. we will address any problems you find in a timely fashion, and if you have suggestions or requests we will consider them.
if you are using v3 successfully, i would appreciate an e-mail. it will help us to decide when to do the first non-beta.
